happy december

so, here are some things we have done this past month or so:

* replaced our dead computer;

* enjoyed the remainder of the quilt festival;

* took a fantastic trip up to portland, oregon to visit joel, tess, and nicholas,


during which we toured the tillamook cheese factory, visited haystack rock (featured in the goonies!), saw they might be giants in concert, and went walking along the columbia river gorge;

* celebrated our second anniversary at the kennedy school in portland;

* went to dallas for thanksgiving;

* went to a huge multi-family inter-generational family reunion of my grandfather's family;

* put up our christmas tree.

overall, a good month
